Delphinium grandiflorum var. mosoynense, commonly known as Siberian Larkspur or Chinese Delphinium, is a perennial herb that is native to temperate regions of China, particularly in meadows, grasslands, and along forest edges. It exhibits a moderate growth rate and typically reaches a height of 1-2.5 feet (0.3-0.8 meters) with a similar spread of 1-1.5 feet (0.3-0.5 meters). This species is characterized by its deeply lobed leaves and vibrant blue flowers, which are notably showy and bloom profusely in the summer months. The flowers are arranged in loose racemes and are attractive to pollinators such as bees and butterflies.

Siberian Larkspur is valued for its striking blue flowers which can add a splash of color to borders, cottage gardens, and naturalized areas. It is also suitable for cut flower arrangements. While it is relatively easy to maintain, it does require well-drained soils and can be susceptible to crown rot if kept too wet. It thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers loamy or clay soils with consistent moisture. Gardeners should be aware that all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested, and it may require staking in windy areas to prevent stem breakage.
