It typically grows to a height of 1-2 feet (0.3-0.6 meters) and a width of 0.5-1 feet (0.2-0.3 meters). The plant is noted for its unique flower form, with narrow, curved petals in striking shades of blue and pink, which appear in the summer and fall. The flowers are quite showy and can add an exotic touch to gardens.

The Electric Blue Spider Lily is valued for its vibrant and unusual flowers, which can provide a focal point in garden borders or as part of a mixed perennial bed. It is also suitable for container planting. This plant prefers full sun to partial shade and requires well-drained soil with consistent moisture during the growing season. After flowering, the foliage dies back, and the bulbs enter a period of dormancy.
