Estimated Native Range
Summary
This species is often used in spring bedding schemes alongside other spring-flowering plants such as daffodils, tulips, wallflowers, and primulas. It is also suitable for naturalizing in informal areas of the garden or for underplanting with spring-flowering bulbs. The plant prefers moist but well-drained soils and can thrive in full sun to part shade. While it is short-lived, it compensates by self-seeding prolifically in favorable conditions. However, gardeners should be cautious as Myosotis sylvatica can become extremely invasive outside its native range, particularly in parts of the United States. It is advisable to check local regulations before planting to prevent ecological disturbances.CC BY-SA 4.0
