Summary
Blue Wood Aster is valued for its ability to thrive in a variety of conditions, including part shade and dry to medium moisture soils. It is an excellent choice for naturalized areas, woodland gardens, and borders, where its late-season blooms can offer a splash of color when many other plants have finished flowering. It is relatively low maintenance and can be propagated by division in spring or fall. While it can spread via rhizomes, it is not typically aggressive. However, it can be susceptible to powdery mildew in humid conditions.CC BY-SA 4.0
